As a regulated financial institution, we are required by law to verify the identity of our customers. We achieve this by asking our customers to send a few official documents. This allows us to protect our clients by preventing identity theft, and to impede any fraud or any attempts at money laundering.
Our customers are required to send a colour copy of an official identity document (ID card and passport) and of a recent proof of residence (utility bill, bank statement, etc.). The document must be less than 6 months old and should not display a PO Box address. For clients who deposited by credit card, we request a copy of both sides of the credit card (all customers must ensure they hide the first 12 numbers of the card, as well as the CVV code on the back of the card). The company may ask for additional documents, depending on regulatory requirements.
Vestle allows you to send us your documents via three methods:
- Email (please note that we cannot receive credit cards via email. ID and proof of residence will be accepted).
- Fax (please note that we cannot receive credit cards via fax. ID and proof of residence will be accepted).
- Uploading Documents through the trading platform.
